As many of you may know, AMAZON now has a monetary review policy, which is unfair to those who sell book/products on Amazon.
Amazon states, “To write a Customer Review, a customer must have used their account to make at least $50.00 in purchases in the past 12 months on Amazon.com with a valid credit or debit card. Once their order has shipped, they’ll be able to write a review. In Addition, any customer who has met the purchase requirements is entitled to write a customer review that meets our Community Guidelines.”
Authors/Sellers rely on reviews for sales and visibility on Amazon since the market is so vast and saturated. Here is the LINK to the verbose Amazon review policy:
It only takes 10 minutes or less to write a brief review on Amazon. One or two lines is sufficient, add some stars, submit the review and you are done.
It is unnecessary to write a lengthy review. Most customers look to the stars and do not want to read exceptionally LONG reviews. Please keep it simple.
I am grateful to those who have written reviews for my books, which I GIVEAWAY on Amazon 3-4 times a year. Both are short, clean reads. Unfortunately, many have said they’d review my books and have not.
Brief reviews are appreciated. I know many who sell on amazon and we are grateful to the kind souls who take the time to review. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
