#WednesdayWisdom πŸ–Š

margaret atwood quote

Lately, it seems many are seeking attention,

perfection, awards, etc. I feel we all have our flaws and

issues. Perfection does not exist in my belief. We are all

born upon this chaotic planet and most don’t not even

know why. An array of slogans are used and some are

amusing, some insightful. After all the hardships I’ve

experienced, I wonder why I’m still here. Is life

a joke perpetrated by some monster? I have read and

written much. Is there truly is a GOD, a DEVIL? If

so, I’d like them to make up and stop all the strife on

Earth. Like myself, too many are suffering. I know I

have done my best. Like Frida Kahlo said shortly before

her death, “I Hope the Exit is Joyful and I Hope Never to

Return.” Thanks for liking, reading and sharing.

“I have suffered too much in this world not to hope for another.” –Jean Jaques Rousseau
Rousseau seems to be saying that when all is said and done, hope is all we have. Having lived into old age, I cannot help but agree.

Me too and thanks for sharing. Wishing you a blessed day.

      • MG WELLS says:

When I do leave EARTH, I hope to not return. This place is a hostile environment. Every living thing feeds off every living thing to survive and that is barbaric to me. I do not want to live to an old age. I feel I have lived enough for dozens of lifetimes. Thank you.

      • mistermuse says:

MG, I feel your pain, but if you’ll allow me to put in a good word for living to an old age, I still find it rewarding because I have loved ones whom I love dearly and who love me. Without them, I would no doubt be asking myself whether all the suffering (both in the world and personal) are worth enduring.

    • MG WELLS says:

Thanks for sharing. For now, taking life moment to moment. I need a rest from all the drama. Enjoy the day.
